Saturday morning RTC unveiled the name of the new transit line that will serve the 4th street and Prater Way Corridor.
The new transit line will be named the "RTC Lincoln Line". The name reflects the historical nature of the corridor, which was once part of the famous Lincoln Highway.
The name "RTC Lincoln Line" was chosen from 231 submissions from members of the public through RTC's website, social media and suggestion boxes at transit stations.
The RTC Lincoln Line, which will have all electric buses and be the nation's first all-electric bus rapid transit service, will begin operations in early 2019.
