Detectives from the Regional Crime Suppression Unit (RCSU) arrested Nathan Sanford after a short standoff on Yukon Drive in Sun Valley.

29-year-old Maile Daugherty and 36-year-old ex-felon Chad Hooser were arrested at the Carson City Nugget on Thursday.

The suspect had pointed his gun at a Nye County Sheriff's Office personnel, resulting in a deputy shooting the suspect.

The ATF and DEA Las Vegas District Office investigated the case.

Authorities say they arrested a convicted felon who had more than 60 guns and numerous drugs inside a home. 

Griner was freed in an exchange in which the United States released convicted Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout.

A check of the firearm revealed it was unregistered.

South Lake Tahoe Police say while investigating an accidental shooting, they arrested a man for having a gun as a convicted felon. 

The deputy also recovered a Hi-Point semi-automatic C9 handgun with seven live 9mm rounds in the magazine from the backpack
