Caltrans released chain controls for certain area roads within Eastern Kern, Inyo and Mono Counties on Tuesday afternoon.

Southern California Edison says almost 11,000 customers had their power turned back on Tuesday morning, while 3,700 remain without power in portions of Mono and Inyo Counties.

Mono County Sheriff's Office says crews responded for a skier rescue on Saturday evening near Bridgeport. They said the injured skier was a 29-year-old man from San Francisco. They said he had fallen while skiing in the West Couloir/Gully on the Incredible Hulk in the Hoover Wilderness.

The National Weather Service has released a statement regarding inclement weather that could affect Mono, Alpine, Lyon & Mineral Counties. 

If you see smoke in the Washoe Valley area it's from pile burning being conducted by the Forest Service. The agency says it is pile burning in the area of the Little Valley Fire to help reduce hazardous fuels.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Alpine, El Dorado and northern Mono Counties in California and southeastern Lyon and Douglas Counties in Nevada until 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch in the greater Lake Tahoe and western Nevada area from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday July 4th.

Frontier Communications says internet service has been restored to the Gardnerville area after an outage that started early Saturday morning.
