The Sparks Police Department say they have arrested a suspect after a woman reported being followed home and then robbed.Â
Just after 11:00 p.m. Monday the Sparks Police Department responded to the 1500 block of San Pedro street on a report of a strong-armed robbery. The victim says that she was followed home by a man who began talking with her.Â
She reported that the man attempted to take her purse and a struggle ensued. He took her purse and fled the area.Â
The man has been identified as 27-year-old Sparks resident Tyler Olivero. Police say Olivero was arrested and charged with Robbery with an Elderly Enhancement and Battery Causing Substantial Bodily Harm. He was then booked into the Washoe County Jail.
