Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler and Democratic challenger Raphael Warnock debate Sunday night. The debate is sponsored by the Atlanta Press Club.
The Georgia runoff election on January 5 will determine which party controls the Senate.
Republican Senator David Perdue refused to attend the debate, so challenger Jon Ossoff debated an empty podium earlier in the night.
A huge wave of money and organizing efforts are going into the election. President Trump held a rally in Valdosta Saturday night to show his support for Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue.
