Tonight's presidential debate will set the tone and direction for the next eight weeks leading up to election day. According to CBS, Kamala Harris has been staying at a hotel in Pittsburgh for the last five days to prepare for her face-off with Donald Trump.

2 News Nevada reporter Josh Meny spoke to both campaigns' national press secretaries. Tonight's debate in Philadelphia is expected to be highly confrontational.

While Harris has been preparing in a simulated debate stage setting, Donald Trump has been holding policy discussions with Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz and former Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.

It has been more than a month since Harris secured the nomination and the key election issues demanding attention in recent weeks will be front and center tonight.
