The Lyon County School District (LCSD) confirmed one case of coronavirus at Yerington Intermediate School on Sunday.
LCSD says it is working with Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) to conduct contact tracing.
One person is being excluded from school at this time.
LCSD says the school is following enhanced cleaning protocols per the CCHHS and CDC guidelines.
No other information regarding the positive case or the person being excluded from school has been released.
LCSD says if a student needs to be excluded from school, they will be provided distance learning opportunities.
