The Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue is relocating its headquarters to Barron Way in Reno.

The old headquarters was at the Washoe County Complex on east Ninth Street.

The move becomes effective on March 9th.

TMFR says that the move gives them greater efficiency by putting everyone under one roof.

The main phone number will remain the same: 775-326-6000.
