Spring is in the air, not only because of the temperature but also because of allergies. The latest reading from the Allergy and Asthma Associates in Sparks shows tree pollen in the moderate category. Weeds and grasses are absent, but mold is low.
The most recent data from February 3rd-4th, shows 54% of the tree pollen is coming from Juniper or Cedar, 22% from Ash, and 24% of the tree pollen is coming from other trees, such as Pine, Elm, Alder, Maple, and Birch. Keep in mind, the data is from one location in Sparks, so pollen levels could be different in your backyard.
