If you want to check out some cold-blooded creatures this weekend, the Wilbur May Museum has a new exhibit opening that may be to your taste.
‘Snakes Alive’ has a number of live snakes for people to see and help learn to appreciate and not fear them.
People can get up close with a variety of the animals.
"The goal is that people will leave, maybe not loving snakes, but not being as scared of them,” says Samantha Szesciorka, Assistant Curator, Wilbur May Museum.
The Great Basin Herpetological Society will bring snakes throughout the run of the exhibit including a 14-foot Burmese python.
The exhibit opens Saturday and lasts through April 10th.
