Authorities say the 1,400-acre Arc Fire, burning near I-80 and Patrick, east of Sparks, is now fully contained.
Storey County Emergency Management Director, Joe Curtis says the fire was fully contained at 8 p.m. Sunday night.
Authorities say it was started accidentally, but did not elaborate on a specific cause.
A total of seven agencies helped fight the fire, which started Saturday, just before 1:30 p.m.
No structures were threatened.
Authorities say they'll need to replace about eight power poles that were damaged.
