The Storey County E-Comm Center says a boil water order is now lifted for residents in Gold Hill and Silver City.Â
The announcement was made on Sunday.Â
The order was put in place last Thursday after a water main break.Â

The boil water notice implemented on December 27, 2018 for Gold Hill and Silver City has been lifted. You may resume normal use and consumption.

UPDATE: The Storey County E-Comm Center says there is a boil water order in place until further notice for residents in Gold Hill and Silver City.
They said the water is back up and running.
Storey County says they anticipate lifting the notice on New Year's Eve after testing the water.

The Storey County E-Comm Center reports crews are working on a water main break on Thursday evening.
They said water has been turned off from Greiners Bend to Silver City.Â
There's no estimated time for when the water will be turned back on.
