Chain controls remain up for I-80 west of Robb Drive. Chains or snow tires are required in the area.
On I-580, chains or snow tires are required between Winter's Ranch and College Parkway in both directions. Controls are expected to end at 10 a.m.
There is also a high wind alert from Eastlake Boulevard to Mount Rose highway. Vehicles over 9 feet should use caution in the area.Â
Both lanes are blocked on US-50 in both directions at Cave Rock. Expect driving delays.Â
On SR-267, NHP says chain controls are required on all vehicles except those with 4-wheel drive or snow tires from North Shore to Truckee.Â
