The ‘Hotdogs for Homeless’ tour visited the Biggest Little City on Monday.
A Wienerschnitzel-wrapped RV, deemed the "Wienerbago," is visiting 13 cities with heavy homeless populations to lift spirits and provide hot meals.
“A large part of what we do is based on interacting with kids, interacting with homeless, interacting with people who aren’t homeless so that they feel like I’m empowered to go and do what you guys are doing,” says videographer Jardan Riggs.
They were at The Eddy House teen shelter Monday afternoon, and they will be at Bishop Manogue High School tonight until 8pm.
Having handed out over 50,000 hot dogs and raised $200,000 in donations in 2015, the crew has set the bar even higher for this year's hot dogs for homeless tour.
The Wienerbago will visit Las Vegas later this week, and ends its tour in San Diego later this month
