City Of Reno Extends Business License Fee Deadline Due To COVID-19 Closures

The City of Reno says an over-sized load of a house section will be moved on Sunday starting at 6 a.m.

Officials said the move will have significant impact on roadways within Reno city limits and is scheduled to take place until 11 a.m.

The move will begin at 8th and Center Streets and end at Lander Street.

The route will go as follows:

8th Street westbound to Sierra Street

Sierra Street southbound to 6th Street

6th Street westbound to West Street

Wet Street southbound to 2nd Street

2nd Street westbound to Arlington Avenue

Arlington Avenue southbound to California Avenue

California Avenue eastbound to Lander Street

Lander Street southbound to 741 Lander Street

Due to the complexity of the move, streets and intersections along the route will be temporarily closed. 'No Parking' signs will be placed along the route. Cars found parked in these posted areas will be subject to citation or tow.

Drivers should expect delays in these areas on Sunday.

Additionally, Lander Street will be closed through Sunday to Monday evening between Reno Avenue and Saint Lawrence Avenue.
