The California Highway Patrol (CHP) in South Lake Tahoe is currently working a crash in Emerald Bay that will affect traffic for the next few hours.
According to a recent post on X, CHP currently has one-way traffic controls in place on SR-89 at View Circle.
CHP crews will be on the scene for the next few hours working to clean up after an overturned semi trailer.
Officials are asking drivers to have patience and use caution when driving through the area.
