Seniors who want some guidance on how to use smartphone technology can take advantage of a free class being offered by the City of Reno.

The Senior Citizen Advisory Committee is offering a free technology class to adults 60+ looking to better understand how to use a smartphone.

Registration for the class is open, but space is limited to 25 participants.

People who register must attend two sessions, one on Wednesday, January 17th from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and another on Thursday, January 18th from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Both sessions will be at the Neil Road Recreation Center on Neil Road.

The class is free to participants thanks to funding from the City of Reno’s Senior Engagement Funds from ARPA funding. Seniors should bring their iPhones or Androids to the class.
