No Labels, a political organization, is proposing a "unity ticket" for the 2024 presidential election. This ticket would consist of a Republican and a Democrat president and vice president candidate team. The organization believes that most Americans do not favor either Donald Trump or Joe Biden and are looking for a third-party alternative candidate.
"We would only be in this to win it, and we don't think Donald Trump should ever be in the White House," said No Labels Chief Strategist Ryan Clancy.
No Labels' modeling shows that there are enough Americans who like Trump's policies but not his personality, who would consider or vote for a moderate unity ticket. In November, No Labels' modeling showed that more than 83 million Americans would consider or vote for such a ticket.
"It is hard to claim that No Labels is spoiling the race that Joe Biden is losing, and losing by quite a bit. If you look at the Real Clear Politics polling, he is doing terribly politically. If you look at the Monmouth poll that came out yesterday, he's losing every single swing state except for Wisconsin," said Clancy/
Former Democratic Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has joined the No Labels campaign and explained the political machine they are building around the 2024 presidential race.
"It's a lot of work; the other thing you have is that there are 50 separate states with 50 separate sets of rules, and we're operating in all of them to get on those ballots," said (D)Â No Labels Director of Ballot Integrity and former Governor of Missouri Jay Nixon
November voter registration statistics from the Nevada Secretary of State's office show that non-partisan voters are the largest voting block in Nevada, with 760,327 registered non-partisan voters.
"I think there are a lot of independents; there's a lot of Republicans who don't want Trump, I think there's a lot of Democrats who don't want Biden. But, the fact is that it's a very purple state, and I think that gives us an opening," said political consultant Bob Zeidman.
The Nevada State Democratic Party sent 2 News this statement:
"There are only two parties with a path to 270 Electoral Votes, and we can't afford any distractions. With so much hanging in the balance in 2024, we are going to continue to do the work necessary to send President Biden back to the White House," said Nevada State Party Executive Director Hilary Barrett. "The choice is clear. President Biden has delivered for Nevadans time and time again, and we will make sure that he can continue to rebuild our middle class, lower health care and prescription drug costs for Nevada families, and protect our hard-earned rights and freedoms."
There are rumors that Democratic West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin and Republican Utah Senator Mitt Romney are possible picks for the No Limits' unity ticket. The political organization has raised more than $ 70 million in operating expenditures so far, and they told us they would announce their official candidates after mid-March.
