A fight between two men in north Reno Wednesday afternoon resulted in a fatal shooting.
It happened on Comstock Drive just after 2:45 p.m. according to a release from the Reno Police Department.
When officers arrived on scene they found both of the men involved. One of them had been shot and was immediately taken to the hospital.
Once there, lifesaving measures were taken but he died from his injuries.
The second man stayed on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The Reno Police Department's Robbery/Homicide Unit responded and determined the incident to be a case of justified self-defense.
Authorities are withholding the name of the man who died until next of kin can be notified.
Police say there is no threat to the public.
