JDRF is holding its One Walk event Sunday morning to raise awareness for type one diabetes research.
Local teams will walk around Sparks Marina to raise money and awareness for type one diabetes.
The event opens at 8:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 9:30 a.m.
JDRF’s mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat type one diabetes and its complications.
To accomplish this, JDRF has invested more than $2.5 billion in research funding since their founding.
