Nevada State Police has released more details on a crash that killed two men on U.S. 395 Alternate and Laramie Drive late last month.
The crash happened just before 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26th in Pleasant Valley.Â
NSP says 59-year-old Michael Sullivan was driving a 2015 Land Rover east on Laramie Drive, trying to make a left-hand turn from a stop sign onto U.S. 395A. At the same time, a 2005 Roadmaster Rail motorhome was heading south on 395A, when Sullivan failed to yield while turning left and drove into the path of the RV, where both vehicles collided.Â
Both people inside the Land Rover died on scene, including the passenger, 70-year-old Joseph Sullivan. Both men had recently moved to Sparks.
NSP says the RV driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.Â
Troopers believe speed and impairment do not appear to be involved.
