Christmas is over, which means the time for exchanging gifts has come to an end.
With all the gifts changing hands, there are destined to be a few unwanted ones, or ones in the wrong size.
We spoke to some shoppers on Thursday who ran into that exact problem.
Aidan Moberg, who's returning an item from Christmas says he's trying to exchange "Some shoes. Wrong size, so I'm going to see if I can trade it in, I found them online though so I'm going to see if I can turn them in here."
But Moberg makes it clear, you shouldn't return a gift just because you don't like it.
"I think it's ok if it's the wrong size, but if you're returning it because you didn't like it? I mean, there's morals to that," he said. "If you just want the money back then it's messed up."
Other shoppers at the Summit Mall area say returning an item you don't like it completely fine.
Stacey Nunez, who we ran into as she did some post-Christmas shopping says "I think it depends on who it's from and what their feelings would be."
She adds "I would want someone to make a return if I had gotten the wrong size item or actually if they didn't care for it, you know. You can't always know what people are going to like so you make your best guess and go from there and hope they like it but if they don't, I would want them to return it and get something they would enjoy."
But Moberg counters this opinion "I think if someone keeps it on the DL and didn't let me know then I'm fine with it, but if I got to their house next week and I see that gift is gone I'm going to be a little upset."
However, he says he's also returned gifts in the past.
"I returned a few shirts, maybe a few pajamas," he said. "My grandma gives me a lot of pajamas so I'm always returning those, but this is the first time in a minute that I remember."
As has Nunez, just today "That's a hard one ye I'm returning something my husband got me for Christmas god bless him, it's a piece of jewelry. I usually wear silver. Today I have gold on but I usually wear silver, and he got it in gold and it's beautiful, but I'd like it in silver."
But Nunez told us the main reason she came to the mall today was to shop "I came down to buy a couple of things I had eyed before Christmas to see if they were on sale after Christmas."
