A 29-year-old man is dead after a rollover crash on U.S. 50A in Fernley last month.
Nevada State Police say the crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. near Inglewood Drive.
NSP says a preliminary investigation indicates that a silver 2018 Hyundai Tucson was heading west on U.S. 50A west of the intersection when for some unknown reason the car went off the road, hit a light pole and rolled several times.
NSP says the driver, Sergion Aquino-Almanza of Fernley, was thrown from the car and died on scene.
A juvenile passenger was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
NSP says the investigation indicates that the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
