Iran says it has suspended its commitments under an interim deal with the U.S. as the countries have exchanged strikes targeting infrastructure and military sites. There is no new word on mediation efforts. The conflict over the Strait of Hormuz has intensified, affecting global oil supply. On Saturday, Iran struck a water desalination plant and oil facility in Kuwait, causing injuries and fires. The U.S. Central Command reported hitting surveillance sites and military infrastructure in Iran. Iran said desalination plants there were hit. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned countries hosting U.S. forces of potential retaliation.
