Night In The Country T-Shirts Help Several Local Non-Profits

Northern Nevada’s annual music festival - Night In The Country - is next month in Yerington. The event is a fundraiser for several non-profits including, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley

This year, they've partnered with two local businesses to create special t-shirts and tanks for the big weekend.

The Night In The Country themed tops just hit the main floor at Scheels at Legends shopping center in Sparks...and if the design has a familiar feel, there's a good reason.

"A lot of the designs we come up with are rooted in Nevada heritage, and Night in the Country really speaks to that and the connection was just perfect," explains Scott Dunseath, owner of Home Means Nevada Co.

The tops and their designs are courtesy of Home Means Nevada, the same company who created the iconic Reno eNVy artwork with the airstream trailer.

"If you've ever been out to Night in the Country, everyone has a trailer, everyone has a kiddie pool and everyone's flying their flag off their trailer, so it really lent itself to using that Reno eNVy trailer,” says Dunseath.

The wildly popular music festival has been bringing big country names to the Yerington farmlands for more than 15 years. It also raises much needed money for the rural Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley.

"Night in the Country is such a great event here in northern Nevada and so we're just thrilled to have their line in here and to be the exclusive product partner," says Ryan Renard, the Marketing Coordinator for Scheels in Sparks.

The tees and tanks - made right here in Reno - are available only at Scheels until the end of July and then they can be purchased on location at the music festival. Proceeds go to local charities and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley.

"We are an authentic Nevada apparel brand,” says Dunseath, “and we always try to partner with authentic Nevada organizations or events and Night in the Country truly is an authentic Nevada event.”

"As far as the partnership with the Boys & Girls Club,” says Renard. “Obviously a very worthwhile organization, so we're happy to be able to support them”

The T-shirts and tanks range in price from $24 to $36 at Scheels.
