City of Reno virtual and physical administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27, 2020 in observance of Thanksgiving and Family Day.
All City of Reno recreation facilities and pools will be closed as well on November 26 and 27. Visit Reno.gov/ParksandRec for more information.

The following Sparks city offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27, 2020, in observance of Thanksgiving Day and Family Day:
* Sparks City Hall (431 Prater Way)
* Sparks Parks & Recreation (98 Richards Way)
* Alf Sorensen Community Center (1400 Baring Blvd.)
* Larry D. Johnson Community Center (1200 12th Street)
* Sparks Municipal Court (1450 C Street)
Normal office hours will resume on Monday, November 30, 2020.
Most Washoe County administrative offices will be closed for the observance of Thanksgiving and Family Day, November 26-27, 2020.Â
The following county offices will be closed:Â
• Administrative offices at the Washoe County Complex: 1001 E. Ninth Street, RenoÂ
• All Washoe County Libraries are closed and will remain closed until December 1. Book drops will remain open.Â
• Regional Animal Services Shelter Operations and Office will be closed, but field operations will continue as normal.Â
• Reno Justice Court, Sparks Justice Court, Incline Village Justice Court, Incline Constable, and Wadsworth Justice CourtÂ
• The Second Judicial District CourtÂ
• The Washoe County District Attorney’s OfficeÂ
• The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office - all administrative offices and front deskÂ
• Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue – 3663 Barron Way Administrative OfficeÂ
• Washoe County Health District – COVID-19 testing and call center will be closed on Thanksgiving. Testing services will remain closed but the call center will reopen on Friday, Family Day.Â
• Washoe County Human Services Agency and all meal distribution locations Â
The following county offices will be open:Â
The Office of the County Clerk at the Washoe County Complex will remain open throughout the holiday from 8 a.m. to midnight for marriage licenses, fictitious firm names and notary bond filings. Marriage license appointments can also be made on their website.
All Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County transit services will be on a Sunday-level holiday schedule for Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 26. The RTC Regional Connector will not operate this day and RTC’s physical and virtual administrative offices will be closed. Administrative offices will remain closed on Friday, November 27, and transit services will operate on a Saturday-level holiday schedule. RTC Regional Connector will not operate on Friday. To check your transit route and view schedule information, visit rtcwashoe.com. Passengers using transit should note that social-distancing protocols are in place on RTC buses and that masks or face coverings are required when riding transit. The RTC has also implemented additional cleaning measures.Â
RTC Customer Service will be closed on November 26 and 27.Â
