WRITE A BRIEF (TWO TO THREE SENTENCES) SUMMARY OF YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE THAT WOULD ENABLE YOU TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THIS OFFICE:
I've been a small Northern Nevada business owner in private law practice since 2006. I have represented thousands of clients during that time in a wide range of legal matters. I have practiced as a trial attorney in almost every court in Northern Nevada, including Sparks Municipal Court - where I've been regularly practicing for years.
WHAT IS YOUR TOP PRIORITY IF ELECTED?
My top priority if elected will be to see that the Court treat all parties equally and fairly under the law, while protecting my community, its citizens, and its businesses.
BRIEFLY DESCRIBE YOUR JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY—WHAT MAKES AN EFFECTIVE JUDGE?
To be an effective judge, you must be willing to take the time to listen closely to both sides, and to carefully examine the evidence before coming to a decision. While a judge may hear several cases in a day, each case is incredibly important to the parties involved. They deserve a judge who will treat their case with the same importance.
IN ONE SENTENCE: WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING VOTERS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU?
The most important thing voters should know about me is that "my word is my bond."
YES OR NO: WILL YOU ACCEPT THE RESULTS OF THIS ELECTION, WHETHER YOU WIN OR LOSE?
Yes, I will accept the results of the election whether I win or lose.
