Sparks Police are looking for a suspect involved in a hit and run just before noon on Thursday.

Police say a driver hit a 64-year-old woman while she was on a crosswalk at Pyramid Way and C Street in Sparks.

Officials say the suspect drove off going westbound on C Street from Pyramid Way.

The car is described as an older white or silver four door Toyota Corolla or Tercel or similar type car. The vehicle has black rims and a black front bumper. Police say it possibly has damage to the front bumper and hood where it hit the woman.  

Police say the woman's injuries are considered serious but not life threatening, but that could change.
