A photo of a Washoe County School District school bus seemingly parked outside Wild Orchid has made some waves on the internet.Â
The photo was posted on Reddit and other social media sites on Wednesday. Â
WCSD spokeswoman Vickie Campbell says they investigated the photo right away. Campbell says the driver was actually visiting Newman’s Deli during a lunch break. The driver was unable to park in the west lot, so the driver parked in the lot between the deli, the Ponderosa, and Wild Orchid.Â
Campbell says that the school checked security camera footage and the GPS data from the school bus which supports the driver’s story.
The bus driver parked there in the afternoon at a time when the Wild Orchid was closed.Â
