Sam's Club and the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation held a car show to raise money and awareness for children with cancer.

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office raised over $30,000 during its Guns 'n Hoses charity golf tournament. 

On Monday, students shaved their heads as part of a preview event for the St. Baldrick's "Shave for the Brave" fundraiser.

There are many ways to participate during the month of September including a lighting ceremony at the iconic Reno Arch downtown.

The team at NNCCF shared their mission and how they provide to services to area families and children battling with a childhood cancer diagnosis.

Together the two dealerships donated $8420 to help benefit NNCCF.
