Shave for the Brave, Raise Funds for Childhood Cancer Research

The Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation (NNCCF) is hosting a pre-shave event for childhood cancer research. 

It's designed to raise money for the research at Renown's Pediatric Hospital. Many doctors are already signed up to shave for the brave! 

If you want to participate, the pre-shave event is Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the NNCCF building, located at 3550 Barron Way #9A, Reno, 89511.

The main Shave for the Brave event is on Friday, March 20th, 2020. 

Health officials say their goal for the overall event is to raise $220,000, all for childhood cancer research.
