A driver faces several charges after authorities say he shot at another car after a crash on Highway 395 north near Parr Blvd. Wednesday evening.
Nevada State Police says the incident happened between a Jeep and Tesla just after 6:45 p.m.
That's when NSP says the Tesla driver, John Dominic Saldana got out of his car with a gun, allegedly pointed it at the Jeep driver and then fired, hitting one of the Jeep's tires.
NSP says the woman is known to investigators but did not elaborate on why.
They say both people are cooperating with law enforcement, and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
As a result of the investigation, John Dominic Saldana was arrested and booked into the Washoe County Jail on multiple charges including false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, and discharging a gun in a public place.
9:35 P.M. UPDATE:
All lanes on northbound U.S. 395 in the area of Parr Boulevard have reopened following an investigation in the area, Nevada State Police said in a comment on their Facebook page.
NSP has cleared the scene.
