The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System is hosting its first drive-thru flu shot clinic.
Officials say veterans will be able to get their flu shots starting Monday, Sep. 28 until Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on weekdays and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.
Veterans will have a few options for how they can get their flu shot. Officials say they can either get the shot at the new drive-thru clinic located at the Reno VA Medical Center or at their closest VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic.
Officials want to remind veterans to wear loose clothing and short-sleeved shirts.
No appointment is necessary for the Drive-Through Flu Clinic or for our Flu Cart located just outside the main entrance of the Reno VA Medical Center. Veterans can also get through Flu Shots during any face-to-face appointments with their VA Doctors.
