New Policy Regarding Prohibited Items at Reno Events Center

The Reno Events Center has announced a new policy regarding prohibited items at the arena. The new policy will be in effect for the Rod Stewart with Cyndi Lauper show at the arena on August 28, 2018.

Prohibited items and activities include:

• Knives (switchblades, lock-blades, throwing stars, scissors)

• Swords (plastic, metal)

• Mace (pepper or tear gas)

• Coolers 

• Sticks

• Poles or rods of any kind

• Pitchforks, sling blades, ax

• Chains (metal)

• Air horns

• Laser pointers or pens

• Video cameras/recording devices/professional cameras

• Guns (real, toys)

• Brooms

• Flasks

• Large purses or backpacks

• Nunchucks

• Whips, nooses

• Bottles (glass, thermos, cans)

• Oversized bags (bags 14 inches by 6 inches by 6 inches or smaller are the only ones allowed); all bags are subject to search by security personnel

• Smoking anywhere inside the Reno Events Center. There is a designated smoking area provided outside Portal A.
