On Monday night, California Highway Patrol officers out of Truckee were called to a very surprising scene - a Jeep stranded on a ski slope.
With assistance from the Northstar Resort's crew and a snowcat, the officers worked their way up the slope to where the Jeep was located to investigate.
After the investigation, the driver of the Jeep was arrested for suspicion of driving the influence.
Officials would like to remind everyone that alcohol impairs judgement and driving ability - never drink and drive.
