The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is looking for information about a series of home burglaries that recently took place in the county.

In a post on their Facebook page the Sheriff's Office says the suspects were possibly driving a white Ford Escape.

The first known burglary happened on Friday, December 8th at 8:45 p.m. on Porter Drive in Minden. Burglars gained entry by breaking a front window and a white SUV was seen in the area.

On Saturday morning just after 6 a.m. another burglary happened at a home on Chiquita Circle residence in Minden.

In this case a resident woke up to man in a ski mask looking through their windows. The resident chased the man off with a gun and as the suspect was fleeing he could be heard yelling "get in the car!" to another suspect before both fled in a white Ford Escape.

About 10 minutes after the suspects fled from the Chiquita Circle home there were reports that someone was again breaking into the home on Porter Drive.

The reporting party saw an arm coming through cardboard that was covering the window that was broken during the original burglary, and a similar vehicle description was reported.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to call 911.
