Power has been restored to most of Spanish Springs after an earlier outage affected more than 1,400 NV Energy customers.

NV Energy is reporting an outage affecting more than 1,400 people in the Spanish Springs area on Tuesday night.

It is unclear if this outage is related to the Marie Fire burning in the area.

NV Energy lists the cause of the outage as a downed pole or wire.

The outage began just after 7:50 p.m., according to NV Energy's outage map.

Power is estimated to be restored by 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
