A crash in Tahoma, California near the South Lake Tahoe area resulted in the death of a person who ended up pinned between a truck and a tractor-trailer.
It happened on Monday just before 1 p.m. according to a release from the California Highway Patrol, South Lake Tahoe.
According to the release a 53-year-old man tried to stop a Ford F450 as it rolled through a parking lot on West Lake Boulevard in Tahoma, California.
He was unable to stop the truck and ended up trapped between the side of the Ford and the side of the trailer.
The victim died on scene according to the report.
The incident remains under investigation.
