Fire crews with Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue were able to knock down a trailer fire in Sun Valley Sunday evening.

The fire was reported in the area of Jan Mor Ct. around 5:30 p.m. 

Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue say it was a kitchen fire that put up a lot of smoke.

Firefighters were able to rescue a cat, two dogs, one rabbit and one bird.

The one occupant of the residence did not seek medical attention.
