Nevada MBB - Xavier DuSell

Nevada's sharpshooting guard, Xavier DuSell, has etched his name in Mountain West history, becoming the conference's all-time leader in making three-pointers.

DuSell accomplished the feat in last night's matchup against San Diego State, surpassing former Boise State standout Justinian Jessup, who previously held the record with 325 career threes.

With his signature smooth stroke from beyond the arc, DuSell's record-breaking three brought his career total to 326, cementing his place as one of the most prolific perimeter shooters the Mountain West has ever seen.

As the Wolf Pack now shifts focus to the Mountain West Tournament, DuSell will have the opportunity to add to his record and further solidify his legacy.

The veteran guard's journey to the top of the record books has been defined by consistency and excellence. DuSell began his collegiate career at Wyoming, where he spent three seasons and quickly established himself as a reliable three-point threat. After a brief stint at Fresno State, he found a home in Reno, where his impact was immediately felt.

Throughout his career, DuSell's ability to stretch the floor has made him a nightmare for opposing defenses. His high basketball IQ, quick release, and unwavering confidence from deep have allowed him to thrive in multiple systems and under different coaching staffs.

Now, as the new standard-bearer for three-point excellence in the Mountain West, he joins an elite club of shooters who have left a lasting mark on the conference.

With the postseason on the horizon, DuSell's historic milestone only adds to the anticipation for Nevada's tournament run. As he continues to add to his record, Wolf Pack fans will be watching closely, knowing they have one of the greatest long-range shooters in Mountain West history on their side.
