The New York Jets selected Texas Tech edge rusher David Bailey with the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL draft and took Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq at No. 16. They traded back into the first round Thursday night and took Indiana wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. at No. 30. Bailey provides coach Aaron Glenn with a strong pass-rushing presence for a defense that struggled last season. Sadiq set a school record for tight ends with 51 receptions last season. Cooper was a major playmaker for No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza for national champion Indiana.
