Social distancing hasn't slowed gym owner and trainer Allie Salas down at all. She's taking her high energy classes online.

"I still have my energy," Salas said. "I'm really grateful I have this passion in me to do this otherwise I'd be on my couch, not motivated and, and I did go through that. You know, I was sad; I had to close down my doors, I'm not seeing my clients in person, so I had to get through it. But I feel like I have a fire inside of me. I'm just ready to keep on creating content for you guys and I'm not going anywhere."

Salas is teaching classes via her YouTube page, offering live workouts, and videos to stream later, all for free. And she's offering a kid's class on her Facebook page, something parents and kids can do together.

"Those classes will stay up for you so parents coming home can do it with their kids when they get off work," Salas said. "They're really thankful and that makes me so happy. I'm happy I can help in any way and give back to our community, and thank you to all the parents, they've been so sweet!"

These workouts are designed for you to do at home without any special equipment. The he idea is just to keep everyone moving - at the very least, for a few minutes a day

"Every little bit helps," Salas said "I'm recommending at least five minutes a day of daily movement, whether that's just stretching your neck side to side, or finding what works for you, but you don't need to do the craziest at-home workout, just keep it moving. You don't want to stay static and in one place at the same time."

The videos are geared toward all ability levels. Salas broadcasts from her gym, Aspire Fitness, and keeps the tempo moving. All of the workouts can all be done in the privacy of your own home, on your own time.

"No one can see you," Salas said. "So if you're nervous about being on the web cam, don't worry, I can't see you. But I will be yelling at you!"
