CBS News Special Report: Special Counsel to Oversee Biden Documents

Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed a special counsel to investigate the presence of documents with classified markings found at President Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, and at an office in Washington.

Biden told reporters at the White House that he was “cooperating fully and completely” with a DOJ investigation.
Documents with classified markings were discovered in former Vice President Mike Pence’s home last week, according to his attorney.
The case is a milestone for a Justice Department that had investigated Trump for years - as president and private citizen.
