COVID-19Â Vaccine Distribution
Governor Sisolak announced Sunday the first shipment of COVID-19 vaccines should arrive Monday.
The first vaccines will go to those who work and reside in skilled nursing facilities. Nevada anticipates receiving 23,350 doses in the first week.Â

Electoral College Meets MondayÂ
Nevada's electors will meet over Zoom Monday to officially cast their ballots for U.S. President and Vice President.
Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske will stream the Zoom event here at 8:30 a.m. on December 14.Â
President-elect Joe Biden is expected to deliver remarks later in the day.
Storm Watch This Week
Snow is expected to hit the Reno area late Sunday night into Monday morning, making commutes a little bit slicker than usual.Â
Another storm is expected to move in late Wednesday into Thursday morning.Â

Blue Christmas in Carson City
The First United Methodist Church in Carson City will hold a Blue Christmas service on December 20 at 7:00 p.m.
The service welcomes community members who has lost someone, lost a job, or just feels sad to a socially distanced outdoor service at the church located between Musser and Division Streets.
If there is rain or snow, the service will move indoors.Â

Spaghetti Bowl Ramp Closures
The westbound I-80 ramp to southbound I-580 will continue its nightly closures from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. until Monday, December 21.Â
The eastbound I-80 to northbound US-395 ramp will be closed nightly from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. starting Monday, December 14. The nightly closures will end Friday, December 18. On Friday, December 18, the ramp will close from 10:00 p.m. and remain closed through 5:00 a.m. on December 21.Â
The eastbound I-80 ramp to southbound I-580 ramp will have intermittent overnight closures every night from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. this week starting at 9:00 p.m. Sunday night.Â
