At around 10:30 a.m. this morning, Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue were called out to a brush fire off of Arrowcreek Parkway, east of Thomas Creek Road.
Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire, which had grown to 50 x 50 feet in area.
No injuries or damage to structures were reported, and the cause was likely utility related.
Fire crews will continue to be on scene to mop up.
