Sunny skies and hot temperatures to wrap up the work week... with a forecast high of 87 degrees for Reno. The record for today currently stands at 81 degrees, so I see no reason why we won't go four days in a row with record warmth.
It was another one for the record books Thursday afternoon... with a high temperature of 85 degrees here in Reno. This marks the third day in a row of record heat... and a day after Reno saw the all-time record high temperature for March broken with a high of 86 degrees.
In fact, we've only seen two days this entire month with below average temperatures.Â
And it doesn't look like things are changing anytime soon. The forecast high for Friday is 87... if we hit that two more records will fall. We are forecasting slightly cooler temps for this weekend with the low-80s Saturday and the upper-70s Sunday... which may still be enough for record tying highs. And the record warmth may continue next week.Â
In terms of precipitation... doesn't look possible the next seven days.
Have a great Friday!
